The international acclaim of scientific books written by Greek University Professors in Greek language and in Greek edition is not common. They usually go unnoticed by the global reading audience, the presentation and the book reviews.
For this reason, the book: «Οινεμπόριο. Ο κανόνας του παιχνιδιού και η στρατηγική της αράχνης» by the Professor Argiris Tsakiris of the Wine Vine and Beverage Sciences Department of the University of West Attica which was just awarded (Mention Spéciale de l’OIV 2020, dans la catégorie Économie Vitivinicole) by the International Organization of Vine and Wine (O.I.V.) constitutes a special honour for himself and the Institute.
The «Οινεμπόριο» was released by the Psihalos Editions in 2019. It is the first book concerning the Greek wine marketing, as well as the winery Administration and Economics. It is a book which connects the practical and theoretical approach of the above so that the wider reading audience appreciates the wine’s side as a commercial product too.
